INDIA CONDEMNS ATTACK ON SEA FARERS- July 21, 2026 PUJA JOINING ON AUGUST one 2026 SATURDAY

DEHRA DUN, NEW Delhi, Odesa: July 21, 2026’.
India on Sunday condemned the attack as deplorable on a merchant vessel near the Ukrainian port of Odesia as such attacks impeded the freedom of navigation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday reiterated India’s opposition to attacks on merchant vessels as that violated the international freedom of navigation.

Andril Sybiha. Acting Foreign Minister o9f Ukraine blamed Russia for the attack and said five crew members of the ship remain missing,
“On the evening of July 19, 2026, the vessel MV Golden Leo was attacked while departing the port of Odesa. At that time there were seventeen crew members on board, including four Indians of the five Indian nationals lost their lives, one is hospitalized in a critical condition,” read the ministry’s statement.

India condemned such attacks and reiterated that targeting commercial shipping and endangering innocent civilian crew members, or o0therwise impeding freedom of navigation and commerce is deplorable and should be avoided,” the MEA said. Verkhovna Rada, Unicameral legislature of Ukraine condemned the incident as a brutal military attack on innocent Shipping lives including the valuable life of friend India.

Leader of a farmers group in Western Muzaffarnagar of Uttar Pradesh province in India and his female and male fellow farmers, farm labourers and a visiting farm officials described the attack on the ship as dastardly. We no longer say cowardly but will attack the perpetrators of mayhem.
